This project showcases the meticulous modernisation of a residential dwelling within a conservation area. Due to the deteriorated state of the original building, the internal supports underwent a complete redesign, incorporating complex and heavy temporary works. The project involved: Implementing advanced engineering solutions to stabilize and support the structure throughout the renovation process. Constructing the modern extensions where specifically tailored to seamlessly integrate with the original building, maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
It was essential to implement structural safety with the preservation of the building’s historical essence by using state-of-the-art design techniques.
